Questions
Is there a cost or an API key?
No. The server is free, read-only and needs no key or sign-in. Please cite the hospital.loans page or the HUD source that comes back with each answer.
Where does the data come from?
HUD's Insured Multifamily Mortgages files (active and terminated), rows labeled MF Hospitals, with system names from HUD's list of active FHA hospital loans. Program rules come from 24 CFR Part 242, HUD's 2022 premium notices and HUD's 2022 lender training. The server reads the same files as the pages on this site.
Can it tell me whether a hospital qualifies or what rate it would get?
No. It returns HUD's published tests and the note rates on existing loans. HUD decides eligibility, and nothing returned is a quote or advice.
