About Tower and Wing
Tower and Wing is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for HUD, FHA, HUD’s Office of Hospital Facilities or any government agency, and it is not a lender. To apply under Section 242 or talk to HUD directly, go to hud.gov.
Tower and Wing is operated by Janover Capital LLC, a commercial mortgage capital markets advisory firm at 6401 Congress Ave., Ste. 250, Boca Raton, FL 33487. HUD’s hospital program is small, about 76 active loans, and its paperwork is spread across a 2014 handbook, a regulation, a 2022 premium notice and a monthly spreadsheet of every FHA-insured loan where hospitals are a few rows among thousands. Hospital finance teams ask the same questions: who has used it, what it costs, whether their numbers pass, how long it takes.
This site answers those from HUD’s own documents, with the date on every figure.
What we are and aren’t
We are not HUD, FHA or its Office of Hospital Facilities, and nothing here is endorsed by HUD or by any hospital named. Listing a hospital means only that HUD’s public file shows an FHA-insured loan on it. Nothing here is an offer of credit, a commitment, or advice about whether a particular hospital is eligible; HUD decides that. Janover Capital arranges commercial-purpose financing for the hospital as a business; it is not a bank or a direct lender. When you send a request through the inquiry form, it goes to Janover Capital and no one else, and a person there replies. The site does not collect patient or health information, and the form should never contain any.
How the data is kept current
HUD posts its insured-mortgage files monthly. We rebuild from them and from the Office of Hospital Facilities’ active loan list. About the data explains each source.
